Emergency Engagement Session!

This past week, I received an email from a bride-to-be that needed to schedule Engagement Portraits within the week... I LOVE engagement sessions so I was so excited! With a little creative scheduling, we were able to make it happen ASAP for her and I am soooo glad that we did.

Meet Autumn and Randy: A super sweet couple that is scheduled to be married in June of 2011. I assumed - which I should stop doing - that it would take them some time to warm up to my camera... wow, was I wrong! They ROCKED it from the very beginning :) They teased each other, looking lovingly at one another, genuinely laughed - it was perfect! It doesn't get any better than that! ;) We had a ton of fun during their session... I love my job!

I later found out that the reason for the rush on the engagement portraits, was because Randy was leaving the next day with the service. Not only was I documenting their love for each other, I was documenting one of the last night's they'd have together for a while. They were so strong in their love and knew that a few months apart wouldn't shake them - they were up for the challenge and Autumn knew she'd stay busy with wedding planning :) I could tell from the hour that I spent with them, that they are such a wonderful couple and I know that they will live happily ever after!

I feel very blessed to have a wonderful man to Love. I will admit, my ideas on Love are sometimes a bit fairytale, but to me, that's the fun part. I am head-over-heels, happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have our very own Love Story... now, I want to hear yours!

It was great meeting Donald and Caprice (and their dog, Dylan!) this past weekend. Captice and I have been emailing back and forth for months in prepartion of their upcoming wedding in November and we finally met to take their engagement photos. Although Donald had no interest in taking these photos, I tried to make it as painless as possible ;) They are a very sweet couple.... can't wait to see them again on their BIG DAY!

This gorgeous newly engaged couple is Stephen and Ashley. Can't you tell that they have the "just engaged" glow?! I was honored when they asked me to photograph their engagement portraits! They are from Jacksonville, Florida where Ashley is a teacher and Stephen has just finished law school. The two plan to marry in the Summer of 2010. We had so much fun during the session.... it wasn't hard to capture the fun personality of this couple and the amount of love that they have for each other. Congratulations Stephen and Ashley!!!! (By the way, this is only half of their engagement session... we also went to the beach, so check back for a few of those photos as well!)
