Hello all! No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth... so sorry for the lack of posting this week! My family and I are moving - staying local, only a few miles from where we currently are - and it's been a ton of work packing the house. Moving is no fun. It's been super hot and exhausting. However, the end is near... Sunday (tomorrow) is moving day and I hope to have our life organized and back in order within this week. Fingers crossed!

So, to my loyal readers that have checked in on me - thank you so much! I am fine and doing well. I'm sure I will be doing much better this time next week ;)

The most common question a photographer hears...

"What should we wear for our portrait session?" We completely understand how intimidating the idea of coordinating an entire family's outfits may be, but choosing your look can be lots of fun!  After doing some looking around ourselves, we decided that it would be helpful to put a Spring look together for the whole family.

Our main advice is to Coordinate your look, not necessarily Match. It's a good idea to choose two to four colors that complement each other and stick with them. Our color palette for this Spring look was green, blue, white and black.  Of course, adding accessories can be a blast too...  chunky jewelry, a fun scarf or hat, tights and LAYERS! Really, just have fun with it.  More suggestions like this one to come. We hope you find it helpful!

I love everything that goes along with Love including love letters, hand holding, candlelight dinners, the *perfect* love story and the perfect couple that is in Love. Oh, how I love relaxed, fun sessions like this! This beautiful young lady is my cousin, Brooke. We ventured out to achieve some fresh, trendy portraits for the start of the new school year. Everytime I see her, I cannot believe how much she is growing up! Brooke was awesome to work with and she's very comfortable in front of the camera. Thanks for a fun afternoon Brooke... I Love You!
